Salute to Heroes & Angels Museum
The Salute to Heroes & Angels Museum documents the experiences of soldiers in the War on Terror and the homefront Angels who support and encourage them.
The museum is part of a 3,000 sq. ft. facility next to the veteran-run Soldiers' Angels warehouse in San Antonio, which includes space for events such as military-themed book signings, video screenings, Soldiers' Angels leadership meetings, and more. The facility also supports a program of music therapy and music lessons for wounded veterans.
As featured in the video below, the museum continues its role as a traveling record of military personnel, their families, and the patriotic Americans who support them, with elements of the permanent installation in San Antonio rotated into the traveling exhibition.
